Welcome to Winfield In Action spring 2025 Baseball and Softball. This is a recreational league, with all games in-house or against neighboring community rec leagues.
Registration for T-ball, baseball, and softball will open January 1st, 2025. All registration will be done online through this website. Teams will start forming on Saturday, 2/15/25. As roster space fills up, registrants will be waitlisted until another team can be formed.
Please be sure to indicate if you are willing to coach a team when you register your child. All of WIA coaches are volunteers, as is the case with other rec leagues in surrounding communities.
Friend requests and coach requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
Practices will begin in April. Opening day will be on April 19th for 3rd grade and older and May 3rd for 2nd grade and younger. The seasons will all finish in late June.
I will be adding further information to this page, such as field locations and league rules, as we get closer to spring.
Available age groups: Most age groups currently have room for registrations.
The 1st-2nd grade softball is full. Please email info@winfieldinaction.org for information on a waitlist and other options.
The 5th-6th grade softball is full. Please email info@winfieldinaction.org for information on a waitlist.
The 7th-8th grade softball has been removed due to low registration.
The 3rd-4th grade baseball registration has been reopened to build a second team.
All age groups are based on the grade that your child is currently in this spring. Requests to “play up” will be evaluated on an individual basis. Players cannot play in age groups younger than their current grade. T-ball and Juniors baseball are coed. Girls are welcome to play in all levels of baseball.
